Life

Last Wednesday we went to McCall with Sterling's Parents and Brother and Sister-In-Law. We had such a fun time. A family in our ward let us go up to their cabin. It was so nice and peaceful. I loved it! One morning we were out in the hot tub and heard the Elk calling. Loved it!
On Monday the 8th was Chase's first day of Pre-school for the year. The night before he couldn't sleep, he kept coming out and he told me he was so excited to go to school that he couldn't sleep. He's normally has not been excited for school or Primary, so I was pretty excited that he has been excited about Pre-school this year. He's only had two days, but I have only heard fun things, so that it good.
So, this is mostly for my mom to see. But I didn't kill my flowers this year and they actually look really pretty. You can't really tell so very well in the picture, but I'm really happy with how pretty they turned out this year.

Three Fingers

So, on Labor Day we had a fun little excersion with the family. We all piled in the trucks and went out to Succor Creek area and drove around looking at the views. There are some of the prettiest canoyns. The picture below is a place called Three Fingers. We all hiked up to the top of the one on the left. I didn't think there was any way we could climb it, but we did, and it was lots of fun. We brought Chase and Trey with us, that was a bit of a challenge. We carried them a lot. Trey kept wanting to jump off the rocks. No fear, that kid.

Everyone having lunch.
Grandma and Grandpa were nice and kept the two babies, Keegan and Preston while we climbed the mountain. It was a long drive, but it was a really nice time we had to spend together.

Twin Falls Temple

So, we went to the Twin Falls Temple today and it was such a neat experience. The kids loved it. Chase keeps talking about Angel Moroni. He says it oronmi. It's pretty cute. I'm glad that we took the opportunity to go. I hope that the kids can remember it a bit and look forward to going there again someday.

Busy

Ok, so it's been forever since I last said anything on here. I've been pretty busy. Well, we got a new puppy. I thought the kids would be excited, but they haven't seemed too thrilled. They don't like how excited he gets I guess. He is an Australian Shepherd, Poodle mix. He's actually pretty cute and nice.....I never thought I would like a dog. I still have my issues, but he is fun too. His name is Cowboy. He came with the name, but we like it. Trey calls him Cowboy Hat. It's pretty cute.
Chase and Grandpa Larsen

The first weekend of August I went to Utah to my friend Heather's wedding. We played a bit.

My mom nearly broke her leg. They said it may be a little cracked, poor girl.

My sister got me this Yummy chocolate bar that I could not resist. My kids couldn't resist it either and found my hiding spot. :) I don't know if you can see the picture or not, but at the bottom it says Can you resist temptation. She bought it at the midnight party for the book Breaking Dawn.

I also had to throw in the cute one of Sterling and Chase asleep in the backseat of Owen's truck. They were pretty cute.

When I went to Utah, Sterling went to Rexburg to help his brother Ellis with his house. I came up and on Sunday, Rhonda and Blake blessed their adorable little man Preston. He's quite the cutie, sadly I didn't get a picture of him in his nice little outfit. Here is a picture of a bunch of us in our green at the dinner after the blessing.

Ok, just a couple more pictures to throw at you. A couple weeks ago I decided to try to give Keegan a cracker and he loved it. I love it too because he can hold it himself. He seems to be ok with them and it makes us all happy. It's so nice when they can start to feed themselves a little bit.

Poor little Trey smashed his thumb pretty good in the door at the barn. The poor little man is going to lose his thumb nail. You can't really tell in the picture, but his thumb is swollen a ton. It's not supposed to be sticking out under his thumb nail, it's supposed to go in. Poor kid.

Ok one last picture of the boys. They decided that they wanted to put on coats and gloves in 95 degree weather. They thought they were pretty cool. It didn't last long though.

Breaking Dawn Countdown

Long Trip

We Started out on our road trip on Thursday July 10. I brought Garold over to see Rhonda and Blake's new baby. He is a cute little man. They were so nice to come and let us stay with them for the night. My kids were a little crazy and wound up from the trip, but we had a fun time at their house.
The next day we were able to see Mary's family and I was so excited to see Leslie, I haven't seen her for almost three years. We only got to see each other for a couple hours, which was soooo not long enough, but we had a nice time eating and walking around the old stomping grounds of Ricks College. That evening we drove to Tremonton, to pick up my mom and then on down to Fairview, in central Utah.
On Saturday July 12 we had the Larsen Family reunion. It was tons of fun to see my cousins and eat and talk and play water balloon volleyball. The kids got tons of prizes at the fish pond.
Treyton & Chase at the Reunion.

Coby & Keegan at the Larsen Family Reunion.
They were sure cute! Coby is my cousin Josh's boy.

So, Saturday night thru Wednesday (16th) morning we were in Tremonton. We had some fun there. We had a couple picnics, one we went on a hike and found some shells. The kids played ball with Grandpa and played in the water with Grandma. My mom had a super huge flower plant that I just had to take a picture of.

On Wednesday morning we drove up to Green Canyon Hot Springs in Eastern Idaho. We played with Rochelle and Robin and their kids. We went swimming and camping that night. Ellis and Mary also came out for dinner and swimming. In the first picture Keegan is sleeping after playing hard in the pool and the other two pictures are the boys with their cousin Luke.

Thursday the 17th we came to Rexburg and played at the waterpark in town. It was super fun and Free. Tyson took Chase down the slide. He didn't really enjoy the water coming down everywhere. After the park we went to see cousin Cole's soccer game. The picture with the kids drinking is at the game with Hayley in the background. We relaxed at Ellis and Mary's that night.

The next morning Friday (18th) was Sterling's birthday. Sadly we were not able to see Sterling on his 28th b-day. We sent him a package and called and sang to him. Owen and Emily took him out to see the new Batman movie that night. We went out to Rochelle and Dustin's this day. I've never been to see their new house. I totally love it. It is very nice. I love the yard too. The kids had tons of fun playing downstairs. Porter and Max dressed the kids up as cowboys and they played cars.

Here is a picture of Sterling and his birthday cake. It is a candybar cake. It turned out pretty cute.
On Saturday (19th) we drove to Burley where there was a suprise party for Sterling's sister's husband Mike. It was his 50th birthday. There was a really fun playground at the park that everyone just loved. We did have a really nice time. On our way home we drove past the new Twin Falls Temple. It was very beautiful. Hopefully soon, we'll be able to go through and see it.

July 4th

We had a nice time on the 4th. We went to the breakfast in Adrian in the morning. Aden came home and brought two girls home and Max. We had a nice BBQ for lunch. The kids played in the pool all day and they colored patriotic pictures. A couple sad things also happened this day. Our neighbor passed away and so did my mother-in-laws brother. We went over to his home to be with the family that evening. On our way home we watched fireworks going off around the valley and then laid on the trampoline when we got home and watched and listened and looked at the stars. It was tons of fun and Chase has wanted to do it again every night since. Last night we went to the Rodeo in Vale and that was fun too.
