March

So, I realized that I didn't take many pictures in March, but they are fun ones.

My sister came up and we took the little men skiing.  This is Trey's first time skiing. I was a bit nervous that he wouldn't like it, but he really did like it a lot and wanted to do it all by himself.
Me and the boys!

Aunt Laura and the boys!

Chase starting his way down the hill.

Trey decided that he was done for the night and just stepped off the side of the magic carpet and collapsed on the snowbank. He was done.

Our cousin Evie had her first birthday party at chucky cheeses and we all had fun. Here are Sterling and Keegan racing a car.

February

This is Trey's Preschool class. Trey is the one in the red cowboy hat. They had a Valentines Day program for us. I love to hear them sing.

Trey made me a Valentine at pre-school. He was so excited to give it to me.

Chase had a couple cavities that he had to get filled. He was a great sport.  They stuck the gas on him and he was fine. They let him listen to a tape and when they asked him questions he just kind of giggled. Weird enough, it was almost fun for him. I guess that's a good thing.

Riley turned 12 and received the Priesthood, and so we all went down for it.  It was nice to be there with family.

Keegan and Trey playing with trains at Robin's house with grandpa.

Keegan just chilling in the laundry basket with his monster truck.

We made some carmel apples. They were soooo good!!!

The boys, especially Trey dress up in outfits, I just had to capture this one.  They look like they are all ready to go somewhere.

For Annette's birthday, her mom and sister came out and suprised her.  They brought a splendid birthday cake from Costco.  It was soooo good!!!

Sterling and Owen eating the yummy cake!

January

So I finally have gotten to January. Whew! Now that it's June. I was looking through my January pictures and found that I didn't have very many, so either it was very uneventful, or I was just to busy to take many pictures.
At the beginning of January Robin and her kids came to visit. The kids always have a fun time playing together.
Here are the kids and a gingerbread house they all helped make at Grandma's house.
Trey's birthday was on January third and he is now four. We had a party for him at Grandma's house with the cousins.
At home we had another little party with him, where I made him a cowboy hat cake. Trey is a cute little guy. He loves to dress up in anything and everything. He always has to be wearing a hat, to preschool or town or wherever. Cowboy, construction, pirate, you name it.  He always has accessories too. Trey is a nice guy who likes to watch winnie the pooh, play outside, and listen to mom read him stories.

Here is Trey opening one of his birthday presents. Sometime it feels as if Christmas never ends at our house with two birthday's so close together after Christmas, but we do have fun with it.

Here are the boys all sitting together watching a show. They looked pretty cute all together, so I had to take a picture.

Here are Trey and Keegan downstairs watching a show while we are working on the downstairs.

Brothers are so nice, Keegan and Trey just being silly under Trey's colorful blanket.

Keegan found a chair and some oreos and is just chilling.

Trey is dressed up in one of his outfits playing the V-smile.

Keegan all dressed and ready to go outside and play in the snow.

Chase and Trey standing by their masterpiece snowman.
I just thought this was a cute picture of all the boys standing together with a candy cane.

We went to a birthday party for our friend Justin and they had a Nerf gun wars. It was a really fun party. The kids loved it.

December 2009

I have really got to get on the ball or I'm not going to get through this year until it's over. Well, December was busy busy, of course.

Sterling and I went to Indiana for a couple days.  We were in meetings pretty much the whole time, but it was fun and on our drives we were able to see a bit of the countryside.

There were tons of windmills out there in Indiana.  It was dark on our way in and there were red dots everywhere.  We later learned that those dots were windmills.  There were hundreds of them.
Homedale always has a Christmas Parade that is always fun for the kids to go too.  They get candy and have some good old cold fun.

This is the kids waiting for the parade to start.

Santa is always the biggest hit of the day.  We waited for about 45 minutes out in the cold snowy day to get a bag from Santa.  My camera died so I wasn't able to get a picture of the kids with him though.

We went to RC Willey to buy some mattresses for the boys and Santa and Mrs. Claus were there.  Chase wrote him a letter that said what he wanted and gave it to him.  This year he wanted a real live tree, a photo book and a truck.

Trey wasn't too excited to see Santa. Here we are seeing the famous hide behind the hands.

Keegan wasn't too sure about Santa either.

Here are the little boys and Sterling strolling through the mattress department.

Keegan and I took a quick trip to Utah.  My Great Grandma Penrod passed away and I flew down with Keegan to go to here funeral in Goshen, Utah.

I just thought this was a great mischevious little smile.

Here are Keegan and I at her Graveside.

Keegan was a perfect little flight buddy.  He quite enjoyed the view out the plane.

We decorated a gingerbread house with all the fixing. Including Santa on the roof.  The boys loved it.

Sterling and the boys were re-enacting the Nativity for Family Night.

For Nursery Trey's class made some Rice-Krispy Ginger bread houses.

Chase's wish list on the wall at school.

Grandma Johnston and Chase at his winter Concert at school.

For Chase's winter concert, they did the Polar Express.  He is on the front row.  It was hard for me to get a really good picture of him.

Our friend Sam came over dressed as Santa and gave the boys a big suprise.

This is our Annual Christmas Eve morning breakfast of Ricegrot.
Christmas Eve night we went out to Uncle Sam and Aunt Barb's house and had Oyster Stew and Clam Chowder and had a nice evening together with them.

A couple days after Christmas Grandma and Grandpa Larsen came up and we had Christmas morning all over again.

Grandma Beus and Bonnie and Owen and Emily came out for Christmas dinner. We exchanged gifts and ate and had a nice time together.  That evening we all got together and ate red cake and ice cream and watched Night at the Museum II.

Grandma and Grandpa Johnston coming over Christmas morning.

Another thing Chase really wanted was a book full of pictures.  He loved it.  I think it was his favorite gift.

They boys with some of their toys on Christmas morning.
Ellis and Mary and their kids came and all the kids made another Gingerbread house.

Keegan turned two on the 30th of December.  Keegan is a fun little man.  He can keep up with his brothers in most things they do.  He likes to sing even though he doesn't say any words with his tunes.  He can out eat both his brothers put together.  He so badly wants to be big and go to school with the boys when they leave. I wonder what will actually happen when it's time for him to go.  He's a cute little man.

Here is Keegan with his Donald Duck birthday cake.

Keegan and a tuck and trailer he got for his birthday.

On New Years Eve it really snowed. It started out slow and then it was crazy.  The boys had a lot of fun playing in it.

Sterling went and got a sled that we pulled behind the truck.  We went up and down the road and had fun until Sterling went to fast and we all fell out.

Because of the storm we were unable to attend the New Years party in Boise with friends.  So we made up some grub and had our own little party with the boys.

We made some party hats and waited for the count down.

The boys didn't stay up until midnight, but we had a countdown a couple of times.

Sterling and the boys popped some streamers.  The boys loved it.

Here is the gang at Keegan's little party. We ate and watched Monster's Versus Aliens. Poor little Trey was sick and layed on the couch all day.

Chase wanted a real tree from Santa and he came through. Took down the fake one and put up a real one for him.
