Welcome Home Weekend

This last week has been very busy, and very fun. Family members started arriving on Thursday. On Friday almost the entire Johnston clan met in Boise to play and spend the night. We all went swimming and had tons of fun. The next morning we went to the Temple and Sterling's dad was sealed to his parents and his parents and other family members were sealed also. It was a very nice experience.

We went to a nature park there in Boise and had a family picture taken. That night we had a house full at Annette and Garold's. I don't remember ever having so many people in their house at one time. It was tight, but we had a nice time visiting. Robin brought her chocolate fountain. That was sure a fun treat.
On Sunday Aden gave his mission report at church. It was all very nice. We had a dinner after church, and then everyone went home. It all was too fast. I do love it when people come to visit.

School Bus

For some weird, unknown reason, earlier this year, Sterling talked me into buying a bus. Who knows why I said yes, but it has been a little fun. The kids love the bus. Sterling would take them for a ride every once in awhile. He even played a joke on a couple neighbor girls. He picked them up early for school. Scared them pretty bad. It was kind of funny.
Well, today we sold the bus. Yeah! Thank Goodness. The kids were kind of sad, but Sterling did take them on one last ride.

Elder Johnston is Home

Last night Aden came home from his mission to South Carolina. It was exciting to see him. Chase was so excited. We made a poster and were went into Boise early to spend some time with Owen & Emiliy until we went to the airport. I kind of spaced it and thought that the plane came in at 11:45 P.M., but it actually came it at 11:25. So we missed them coming out. They had to call us. I felt bad, but it all worked out. It's fun having him home. The pictures are from my cell phone, so they aren't the greatest, but they work. The whole family is coming this weekend. I'm really excited. I love it when everyone gets together.

Bit through lip

Poor little Treyton bit all the way through his lip a couple of days ago. He fell off a kitchen chair and hit his chin or mouth on the table. I didn't realize it at first, but after calming him down I realized he had blood on the outside of his lip as well as the inside. Poor little guy. It wasn't terrible but biting through your lip no matter how small isn't very fun. Now he acts like nothing happened so that is good.

Shoulder

So, for the past week of two my shoulder has been bugging me and it's slowly been getting worse. Yesterday, it was finally hurting bad enough that I went to the chiropractor. He said that my collar bone, some ribs and shoulder were out of place, so he popped it all back into place and told me to not lift my arm above my waist for a few days. I'm not exactly sure how I did this to my shoulder, but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with my three little men. :) It's all right though. Hopefully it'll stop bugging me pretty soon.

Stuff

It's been way too long since I last wrote and tons has happened but now I can barely remember anything. :) One very exciting thing was that Annette and Garold on Monday to go and pick up Aden from his mission in South Carolina. I got a phone call from Aden on tuesday, which was very fun.
I thought that this was just a cute picture of Keegan and Sterling and I just had to share it with everyone.
Last Sunday Chase wore a suit to church. He loved the suit. It was very cute on him. This picture is after church so he's not quite as spiffy as before church, but he's still pretty cute. It was quite hot in the van and Chase was complaining a lot, but he would not take off his suit jacket because he liked it so much.

Sickness

My poor little family has been so sick this past week. It started out with Chase throwing up on Tuesday night. He's had good and bad times all week. Trey started a couple days later, he's also had a fever for three days. Poor guy. He doesn't have a fever anymore though. Yesterday little Keegan also started to throw up. It mad me really nervous yesterday. But he did better last night. The kids and I spent the entire night on the couches. I had towels spread everywhere. I was sick of washing there bedding :) Poor Sterling also had a bad night too. He is still trying to pass his kidney stone. Thursday was a hard night for him. I'm hoping that everyone gets better fast, and I sure hope I don't get anything yucky. It's sad to see all my poor little men being so sad.

BIG 50

Her crown says 50, she's pretty cute!
My mom has finally reached 50. We had a fun birthday party for her. My dad worked really hard to plan it. There were lots of people who came to help her celebrate.
I thought it might be fun to put a few pictures of her younger years on here too, she was a cute little youngster.
I think this might have been her first day of kindergarten.

Trip To Utah

The boys in their Easter Outfits. I never got a picture on Easter Sunday, I can't believe I got them to all sit still for this picture.
This past weekend I went with the boys down to Utah to visit my parents in Tremonton. We had a lot of fun. The time went by so fast, it barely feels like I was there at all. But I had a great time.
Chase and Grandpa Larsen
Here are the boys and Grandma Larsen making cookies.

Sleeping Toys

Every night Treyton has to take tractors trucks or cars to bed with him. He doesn't want something soft and plush. I try to take them away after he's fallen asleep, but that doesn't work. He holds on for dear life. In the middle of the night I hear him bagging the toys into the sides of his bed. It really can't be that comfortable. Silly kid.
