Birthday Party & New Years

I just thought that this picture of Chase with Cowboy was really cute. Poor little Cowboy was hit by a car last week. It ran over his back legs. He seems to be getting better now. I hope anyway.
Keegan is my only little one who has really ever had a bottle for very long. He just loves his bottle and I don't know if I'm ever going to get it away from him. He sure is cute with the top sticking out of his mouth too.

Here is the cute little birthday boy!
Trey was funny. He took an onion and just started eating it. It was killing his eyes but he really liked it.

Keegan and Grandpa at the birthday party.

Opening presents. He actually opened the last one all by himself.

Keegan and his birthday cakes.

Keegan getting ready to dish into his cake.

Keegan loved playing in his cake. He just played and played and wouldn't eat it.

Finally after way too many pictures, I finally captured a picture of the little man eating a bite of his cake. I can't believe that it has been a year already. My little man is so big, even though he's a lot smaller than my other two boys at this age. He loves his big brothers and they love him. He loves to push cars around the floor and he's the little monster that crashes the choo choo track and the block cities that his older brothers are making. He stood up for the first time for a long time on Christmas Day. I know he is going to walk any day now. I'm just hoping it's not while we're in Georgia. I love his little laugh and the cute little personality that he is getting. He is quite the joy to have around and I'm grateful for him.

On New Years eve there was an Elder's Quorum party at the Church. We had pizza and talked and had fun. The boys just ran and ran with all the other kids. It sure was freezing in the cultural hall though. I had my coat on the whole time and was still freezing. It was fun though.

After the party at the church we went to Vale to the Wolfe families house. This is Sterling's sister's in-laws. We had a great time. We ate yummy food and played games and just had fun. We haven't really gone out for New Years since we've been married and I'm glad we finally went to a party.

Poor little Sterling always doesn't quite make it to midnight. He's not so much a night person, but I always wake him up at midnight so he can at least see the New Year for a second and I can get my New Years kiss. Happy New Year!!

Christmas Fun

Just before Christmas it snowed and we were able to have a white Christmas. They boys and Sterling went sledding with Garold pulling them along. The puppy cowboy is running behind them. The Sunday before Christmas I dressed the boys in their little matching vests. They looked cute. We tried to get a cute family picture after church, but this was as good as we could get. It's still nice though.
On the 23rd we had a treat. Santa Claus came to visit the boys. They were so excited! He told them to be good. Sterling likes to go out and play Santa to the neighbors. He brought them a poem, an ornament with Jesus inside and some sugar cookies. When he came to the boys Trey caught on and said, "My dad Santa" I don't think we'll be able to use Sterling next year with the boys.
My cousin Josh, Mollie and their three boys came to visit us on their way up to Washington. It was so fun to have them come visit.

Chase, Talon and Trey just being boys and having fun.

This is Sterling with four of the six boys that were at our house on Christmas Eve morning. We have a traditional Norwegian breakfast of Rise grøt or rice porridge. Very yummy.

Christmas Eve day we ate lunch at Chuck-O-Rama and then we all picked names with everyone who was in the area and we went Shopping. We bought a gift and then went to Grandma Beus's and exchanged gifts.

After the gift exchange we went to Uncle Sam's house and had Oyster Stew, Clam Chowder and tons of other yummy food. I honestly have never tried the Oyster Stew, I'm not brave enough. But everything else tasted great and it was nice to see everyone.

I had to take this picture of the guys huddled around the computer.

Christmas Eve Night we stayed out pretty late at Sam and Barb's. Our drive home was kind of scary. The roads were terrible. I can't believe we didn't get stuck in the snow somewhere. By the time we made it home it was past 11:00 PM and the boys still had to open their pj's and get to bed. It was an exciting day for all of them.

So, Christmas morning was tons of fun. We stayed up until 2:30 A.M. wrapping presents. I should have wrapped them sooner. In the morning Sterling was so excited to get going that he woke me and the kids up at 7:00 or so. Not much sleep, but lots of fun. These are the cookies the kids left for Santa, we were going to make cute sugar cookies, but never had time. Chase wanted to leave Santa some crackers too.

This is a picture of the tree and presents before the kids woke up.

Here are me and the kids walking out to see what Santa had brought.

The cute little man and his first Christmas pajamas.

Chase and Keegan

Dad, Keegan and Trey

After opening our presents we went to Grandma & Grandpa Johnston's house to see what was going on over there. We played with Rochelle and Dustin's family all day. The kids stayed in their pj's all day.

This is Trey's most recent thing that he likes to do. He kept eating his toes on Christmas morning.

The day after Christmas we ventured out to Utah. The freeway heading South was closed, so we had to go through Pocatello to make it to Tremonton. The kids were so good, even little Keegan. We only had to stop one time for a few minutes for the little guy. This is a picture of the boys at Grandma & Grandpa Larsen's house.
Keegan opening a present.

Chase and Laura in their Cubs hats.

Chase helped Grandpa Larsen shovel snow outside. He's such a big guy.

The snowman Aunt Laura and the boys made. They love snowman and they pretend to be frosty the snowman all the time at home. We build them and then put a hat on their head and they come to life. They sure love it.

Playing games and eating yummy German cookies. My sister made us a yummy Turkey dinner. It's kind of funny because she doesn't like to cook meat, and she really doesn't like turkey, but she made it and it was great!

Thanksgiving, Early December

So, I haven't written in way too long. The days and month just flew past me. Lots has happened and we've had a fun month and a half or so. I'm updating from Thanksgiving to the early part of December. This is a picture of Sterling and the boys just after we finished decorating the Christmas Tree in their room.
Just a cute picture of Keegan with a Santa hat on.
I took the boys to see the holiday parade in Homedale. It was really cold, but they had tons of fun getting candy and getting excited for Christmas.
Chase and Trey were both so excited to see Santa. This is Chase waving at Santa. After the parade they were able to get a bag of goodies from Santa.
I found the boys had taken a cookie sheet from the kitchen and were eating the leftover chocolate from the oreo balls I had made. It was so cute, I had to snap a picture.
The boys made some gingerbread houses, that they call cookie houses.
This is the tree from the Adrian Christmas tree lighting. We all came and had hot chocolate and chatted with friends.
Here is Keegan's first time seeing Santa. He was pretty good. He just looked at him and didn't cry at all. I was suprised. It was freezing, but we still had a nice time.
We were doing the 12 days of Christmas for the boys. Chase was so excited about the whole thing. Sterling said he heard a knock on the door. Chase was on the back of the couch and kind of fell off into the chair and cut his eye. This is a picture after, he was so good while it was taped up. Poor kid, this is the third time he has cut his eye really bad.

The first weekend of December we all went to Rexburg for Cole's baptism. Here is a picture of everyone afterwards. I can't believe how fast everyone is growing up.

Trey and mom at The Hard Hat restraunt after the baptism.

Aunt Raina made fun hats for everyone. Here is a picture of Hayley and Chase in the ones that they picked out.
Rhonda and her cute little man Preston.
I went with the kids to Robin and Dustins house on Thanksgiving. Robin, Rochelle and I went to the day after Thanksgiving sales. I always think it's crazy fun!! We had a Thanksgiving dinner with the whole family on Saturday and then they blessed Macey on Sunday. It was a fun family weekend.
Keegan is helping me make the pies. Well, he really wanted to, so I gave him some flour and he had some fun, so that I could get the pies done.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at our house this year. Grandma and Grandpa came over and we had a yummy meal. Sterling wasn't with us for Thanksgiving, he was helping our neighbor move to Arizona. We missed him.
