Kidney Stone

Yesterday Sterling stayed home from church because he was not feeling well at all. Then during Sacrament meeting I got a phone call telling me to come home. When I got there Sterling met me at the car and I took him to the Emergency room. He was in tons of pain. I felt so bad for him because there was not much we could do. The nurse gave him a bunch of pain medicine and he finally calmed down. They did some tests and found that he has a kidney stone that is about 5 milimeters in size. They kept him for just a bit but then sent him home. We have an appointment with a urologist tomorrow. I sure hope he can pass it soon. I've had kidney stones before and they are no fun. I feel for anyone who has to go through that pain.

Easter

Yesterday for Easter the kids had a fun time. In the morning the Easter bunny brought some special eggs. They didn't have candy in them but they had the Story of our Savior. We read it from the eggs. The kids enjoyed it because there were little things in each of the eggs that went along with what we read, like a little thing of thorns, or a nail...etc. later in the day we had another Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday we took Chase and Trey to Homedale for the Easter Egg Hunt. I told Chase to just run and pick up as many eggs as he could and I would help Trey. When they said go I took off with Trey and poor Chase just cried because I left him. Poor guy. He calmed down and they did have a fun time getting some eggs, and they saw the Easter Bunny too which was very fun.

Cousins

Robin and her family came this past week. We had tons of fun with them. Aunt Robin taught Chase how to curl his tongue. Chase had tons of fun playing with Tori. We caught Luke and Trey making piles of cat food on Grandma's back porch and I just had to get a picture of Luke holding Keegan. They wew pretty cute.

Lullaby

Chase loves his brother....the other day I let him hold Keegan and he started to sing him a lullaby. It was so cute. Wish I would have video taped it.

Sick Chase & Smiling Keegan

I finally got a picture of Keegan smiling. He started to smile the 26th of February. I'm pretty sure that is the first real smile that I got. He keeps smiling more and more every day. It is pretty fun. It is so fun when they start to react and become the little guys that they are going to be.

Poor little Chase has been feeling sick for the past few days. He kept complaining about his stomach hurting. He's had a terrible cough and we haven't gotten much sleep for the past three nights. Yesterday his stomach was hurting him so bad we decided to take him to the doctor. The doctors office was really cold yesterday. They brought him a blanket to keep him warm and when we left they just gave it to us. That was very nice of them. They think he has the flu and his pains were just stomach cramps. Poor kid. I hope he starts feeling better soon.

Doctor's Visit

So, yesterday we went to the doctor's office. Trey and Keegan had well-checks. Keegan is now 11 lbs 8 oz and 22 3/4 inch long. Trey is 29 lbs and 36 1/4 inch. Poor Trey had issues with being there. He was not a happy little guy, but everyone was so nice to him. They gave him some stickers and a token for being a super patient. He got a little ball with it. They both got shots and were not happy about it, but they did pretty well.
I decided it would be fun to take out Chases baby book and see the difference between he and Trey at two years of age. At age two Chase was 33 3/4 inches tall and 23 lbs 10 oz. So there is a bit of a difference. I can almost put the same clothes on the two of them.

Getting Bigger

Keegan is getting so big. He is 9 weeks old today. I seriously can not believe that it has been that long. I love how small and precious newborns are. They don't stay small for very long. I love to just sit and hold them, but I'm chasing two other little boys too much to do a lot of cuddling the little one. I still do, but not as much as I'd like. He is getting so big...he has a doctors appointment this week, so we'll see how big he is.

Birthday Party

On the 29th Annette's mother and sister came out for a surprise birthday party. We had a nice time with them. here is a picture of the kids with Great Grandma Beus.
