Fire Alarm

Ok, so, one little thought before I go to bed. Last night our fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Scared Sterling and I to death. The battery was dying, and sure enough the kids didn't stir at all. None of them moved or made a sound at all. Seriously, the thing was so loud and right out the doorway. I was talking to Annette and figured that instead of a loud sharp sound, all they need to do is have a recording of someone tip toeing into their room, and then they'd be awake in two seconds. Kids are funny.

Life

Last Wednesday we went to McCall with Sterling's Parents and Brother and Sister-In-Law. We had such a fun time. A family in our ward let us go up to their cabin. It was so nice and peaceful. I loved it! One morning we were out in the hot tub and heard the Elk calling. Loved it!
On Monday the 8th was Chase's first day of Pre-school for the year. The night before he couldn't sleep, he kept coming out and he told me he was so excited to go to school that he couldn't sleep. He's normally has not been excited for school or Primary, so I was pretty excited that he has been excited about Pre-school this year. He's only had two days, but I have only heard fun things, so that it good.
So, this is mostly for my mom to see. But I didn't kill my flowers this year and they actually look really pretty. You can't really tell so very well in the picture, but I'm really happy with how pretty they turned out this year.

Three Fingers

So, on Labor Day we had a fun little excersion with the family. We all piled in the trucks and went out to Succor Creek area and drove around looking at the views. There are some of the prettiest canoyns. The picture below is a place called Three Fingers. We all hiked up to the top of the one on the left. I didn't think there was any way we could climb it, but we did, and it was lots of fun. We brought Chase and Trey with us, that was a bit of a challenge. We carried them a lot. Trey kept wanting to jump off the rocks. No fear, that kid.

Everyone having lunch.
Grandma and Grandpa were nice and kept the two babies, Keegan and Preston while we climbed the mountain. It was a long drive, but it was a really nice time we had to spend together.
