Long Trip

We Started out on our road trip on Thursday July 10. I brought Garold over to see Rhonda and Blake's new baby. He is a cute little man. They were so nice to come and let us stay with them for the night. My kids were a little crazy and wound up from the trip, but we had a fun time at their house.
The next day we were able to see Mary's family and I was so excited to see Leslie, I haven't seen her for almost three years. We only got to see each other for a couple hours, which was soooo not long enough, but we had a nice time eating and walking around the old stomping grounds of Ricks College. That evening we drove to Tremonton, to pick up my mom and then on down to Fairview, in central Utah.
On Saturday July 12 we had the Larsen Family reunion. It was tons of fun to see my cousins and eat and talk and play water balloon volleyball. The kids got tons of prizes at the fish pond.
Treyton & Chase at the Reunion.

Coby & Keegan at the Larsen Family Reunion.
They were sure cute! Coby is my cousin Josh's boy.

So, Saturday night thru Wednesday (16th) morning we were in Tremonton. We had some fun there. We had a couple picnics, one we went on a hike and found some shells. The kids played ball with Grandpa and played in the water with Grandma. My mom had a super huge flower plant that I just had to take a picture of.

On Wednesday morning we drove up to Green Canyon Hot Springs in Eastern Idaho. We played with Rochelle and Robin and their kids. We went swimming and camping that night. Ellis and Mary also came out for dinner and swimming. In the first picture Keegan is sleeping after playing hard in the pool and the other two pictures are the boys with their cousin Luke.

Thursday the 17th we came to Rexburg and played at the waterpark in town. It was super fun and Free. Tyson took Chase down the slide. He didn't really enjoy the water coming down everywhere. After the park we went to see cousin Cole's soccer game. The picture with the kids drinking is at the game with Hayley in the background. We relaxed at Ellis and Mary's that night.

The next morning Friday (18th) was Sterling's birthday. Sadly we were not able to see Sterling on his 28th b-day. We sent him a package and called and sang to him. Owen and Emily took him out to see the new Batman movie that night. We went out to Rochelle and Dustin's this day. I've never been to see their new house. I totally love it. It is very nice. I love the yard too. The kids had tons of fun playing downstairs. Porter and Max dressed the kids up as cowboys and they played cars.

Here is a picture of Sterling and his birthday cake. It is a candybar cake. It turned out pretty cute.
On Saturday (19th) we drove to Burley where there was a suprise party for Sterling's sister's husband Mike. It was his 50th birthday. There was a really fun playground at the park that everyone just loved. We did have a really nice time. On our way home we drove past the new Twin Falls Temple. It was very beautiful. Hopefully soon, we'll be able to go through and see it.

Wow! What a trip. Looks like you were busy and was able to see family and friends. Cute idea with the b-day cake.

It was sure fun to see you guys. I really wish we were closer. I would love to get together more than once or twice a year. For sure, next year when we go to Washington we are stopping to hang with the cousins (if it's okay with you guys). Then we can make it a 2 day trip instead of 1. Hope we'll see you guys sooner than later!!! Love you guys.
