30th Birthday Party

So, I have lots of catching up to do, but I'll just do my birthday for tonight. November 24 was my 30th birthday. It's kind of weird. Last weekend Aden asked me how old I was and I started to say 20 something and then I just stopped talking. I don't feel older, but oh well. It's not bad. I was thinking that I'm grateful for getting older because it means that Heavenly Father has allowed me the opportunity to live on this Earth for this long. So, getting older is more years of happiness. Anyway, I was sick on my birthday. My kids had been throwing up all weekend and finally the night before my birthday I got sick and felt yucky all day. Sad thing was, was that everyone who visited me that day got sick also. My parents and sister came to visit which was really fun. Emily and Owen came for a bit also. My mom made a yummy breakfast and we had a nice day. I went to the store with my dad and we picked out some yummy food for lunch. We didn't go to town because the fog was terrible.
Here is a picture of Laura and I with our 30th Birthday crowns that she made for us.
My mom had the boys decorate the cake. They also drew us pictures. Even Keegan drew on one for us.

This is the card that Laura gave to me. As sadly true as it is. I thought it was kind of funny.
