Birthday & May

So, on May 7th our Little Chase became 5 years old. He is growing up so fast. I can hardly believe it. Chase is a fun guy to have around. He is my little buddy. We always have fun wherever we go. Chase likes to run and jump and climb the walls, seriously. He is our little monkey. He likes to look at books and play teacher time. He likes to write his numbers (letters) in a notebook...he has tons of them. Chase always reminds us to read our scriptures at night and is a great big brother. He helps me out a lot.

My kids are really into Winnie the Pooh lately. We watch a show almost every day. So, I thought it only appropriate that we have a Pooh Bear Cake.

This is one of Chases Presents. A kangaroo from Aunt Laura who went to Australia recently.

On May 8th was Kindergarten Round up. Chase was a bit nervous at first. I dropped Chase off in the Kindergarten room and he did cry a bit. But they told me that it didn't last long. I signed the little guy up for school and he got to play in his new classroom with his new friends and teacher. This is the first year they have used this school so he has a new school too. Chase told me he wanted to come back and that made me happy. This is a picture of Chase with his horse from Kindergarten round-up.

My mom and dad came up for Chase's birthday and we went out to eat lunch the day after.

I thought that this was a cute picture of my mom with the boys, out to eat lunch.

Chase playing on the slide at the park in Homedale.

Little Treyton looking quite grown up, playing at the park in Homedale.
On May 10 was mother's day and Our Anniversary. Sterling took me for a drive out by Succor Creek. It was a fun little drive with a pretty view.

Here is the view, it was a lot prettier in person.

Sterling took us all in the dump truck to have some fun. The boys are all looking out the window at Sterling in the loader, he was putting dirt into the dump truck. I thought it was a cute picture of the boys.

On memorial day Annette fixed some yummy lasagna and we had a nice picnic outside in their back yard.

In the evening on memorial day we took the kids to Kuna to the cemetary there and they put some flowers on the graves of Sterling's grandparents and Uncle. This is Trey putting flowers on Sterling's Uncle Dan's grave.

This is Chase putting flowers on his Great-Grandma and Grandpa Johnston's graves.

After going to the cemetery we told the kids that they could go play at the park.

Me and Keegan at the park. Kuna has a really neat playground. It was tons of fun. I even liked going down the slide and could have played there myself. It was great!
