Speech, Stuff, Burning Ditch & Succor Creek

This was a fun week. Sadly enough I can't really remember the beginning of the week, but the end was a lot of fun. The Johnston family came together for Owen & Emily's baby's blessing.

Uncle Dustin read to all the little kids on Saturday night. They loved it.

Saturday afternoon everyone got together and we all drove out by Succor Creek and went four-wheeling. Everyone brought 4-wheelers and motorcycles. Here's a picture of our family plus Tricia & Luke. We weren't packed this tight the whole time, pretty much just for the picture.

Here's Blake, Rhonda and their cute little man Preston.

We drove pretty far, but then I started to get chilly and so did some of the kids. I was afraid it was going to rain. We ate our sandwiches and food stuffs and then those of us with small kids went home while the others drove off to find the honeycombs.

Here are those who kept going. I hear they saw some pretty country and had a really nice time. We'll have to do this a bunch more.

The guys all went out on Friday to help Jack Arnold with a project. Here are Jack and Garold in the boat ready to go.

They put a propane tank in the boat and decided to do some weed burning from the boat. We weren't so sure it was going to work, but it seemed to work ok.

Here is Chase and his famous peanut butter, apple, and grahm cracker sandwich. Silly kid. He came up with it all by himself.

On Tuesday we watched Lizzie and had tons of fun. Here are the kids frosting some sugar cookes.

Sterling was asked to speak at the Foundation Scholarship meeting on April 27. He did such a wonderful job. Everyone in the place just loved him. I'm very proud of him. He tries so hard and is such a good student.
