Ok, so once again I have a bundle of catching up to do. On the Monday before Halloween the school in Adrian was having a Halloween carnival, so I took the kids to that. Below is a picture of the kids as I pulled up to the carnival...they were both sooo excited to be there. As you can tell they are both fast asleep.
At the carnival the kids both won a cake on the cake walk. I think we walked in circles for a half an hour, but it was worth it. The went to the duck pond and both won two really nice trucks. They threw a ring around some pumpkins and won lots of little random things in the football toss. They both got a pencil in the costume contest. For some reason, I decided to purchase some raffle tickets. Now, I can't leave if I know there is a possibility I may win something. So, long after we were done with everything, we sat there and waited in the cold to see if I had won something. Luckily I did. I won some free products from Arbonne. Pretty fun! We were a little frozen by the end of the night, but had a great time!
This is Chase's preschool class at their Halloween party. The mom's all got to go and watch the kids sing their songs. They are all pretty cute. While I carved the big pumpkins the boys colored their own little ones. They really enjoyed it.
These little pumpkin pizza's were our Halloween lunch. Chase saw a pumpkin pizza in the newspaper and wanted one so bad, so I decided that we could make some. The kids helped me and we ate them while we watched Disney's Halloween Treat.
I always take the kids into Homedale to go trick-or-treating to all the businesses there. Here are Chase the pilot and Trey - Bob the Builder.

Keegan was so pleasant going around to all the places. Some guy gave him a dollar because he figured he couldn't eat candy anyway. I thought that was nice. Someone else gave him a bag of skittles that he held and sucked on the rest of the time. When we opened that bag of skittles it wasn't a pretty site. Not edible at all. I didn't realize water could go through those bags.
Also that night while we were going around to neighbors someone gave Keegan a snickers to hold. I put him in his car seat and drove to the next house, by this time he was asleep. We brought him into the house and were talking for awhile when I noticed that he still had ahold of that snickers and he was not going to let go for anything. He was still asleep too. Pretty cute kid!
Here is a picture of Keegan and Grayson at the Owyhee Ward's trunk-or-treat.
For our Ward's trunk-or-treat we had a chili feed before and then the kids went around to all the cars in the parking lot. My kids kind of stopped up the line a bit. The are too indecisive. I started to tell people to just stick stuff in their bags.
Later that night when we were going to the houses of our neighbors we had the kids sing a song. Chase really sang loud to everyone. I was so pleased. He sure is growing up. They sang Halloween's Coming.
Here are our Jack-O-Lanterns. They turned out pretty fun! Trey does not like them at all. The day after Halloween we were coming in from the car and he stopped in the grass and started crying. I couldn't figure out what the problem was, but then he said "punkims scary" Poor kid. He would not walk past them at all. We got rid of them pretty fast.

This is Sterling and his bales of straw. He put all these on here by hand. There are over a hundred on there. I was pretty impressed.
We're getting two more pivots this Fall and they poured the pads for them, so we decided to go stick our hands in the cement. It took a lot of coaxing to get the kids to stick their hands in the stuff. It was easy for Trey to stick his foot in it though. Leave it to kids to stick the things you don't want in there. :)

November 1st was Garold's birthday. Annette was not at home. She was helping Sterling's sister with a new baby, so we had the party for Grandpa. He was nice and let the kids blow the candles out on his cake.
