Georgia

So, in Georgia there are tons of trees. I didn't realize how many trees there were there. Especially the type of trees. I felt like I was up in the mountains the whole time we were there. This is a group of trees in the neighborhood where Tricia grew up. It's very pretty there.

While we were in Georgia we went to this place called Stone Mountain. It was really neat. It was a big granite mountain just sticking up out of the ground. There was a stone carving on one side of it.

We rode a tram to the top of the mountain and were able to look around. It was quite a view.

Here are Sterling and I on top of the mountain, you can see Atlanta behind us in the distance.

The stone from stone mountain was taken and used to build many government buildings. Here is a block that weighed a lot, not Sterling, but the block.

Before we left, we went to this fun store. This was only half of the house, it is bigger than this on the other side too. It was full of all kinds of fun things.

On our way to the airport we just had to stop at the wafflehouse. These things are everywhere. Seriously all over the place, so we had to stop and see what it was about. It was pretty yummy!

Picture of Sterling and I on an airplane back home.

The morning after we got home Denny's was giving away free grandslams, you can't see very well but the line is well out the door and down the sidewalk. Instead of going to a Denny's in Salt Lake, my sis and I went to Tremonton and grabbed my mom and kids. Their was quite a line, but it did go past really quite fast. We had a very yummy brunch. It was actually a lot of fun too.
